First Aid Training
Did you know that most accidents happen at work? It is vital that organisation prepare their staff to be able to provide first aid in the event of an emergency. St John in Zambia offers a range of first aid training to business, commerce and at public events.
Commercial first aid training is normally conducted at the clients’ premises and flexible training hours are offered in order to fit in with the working requirements of those to be trained. The Lifesaver First Aid course is normally offered in 5 sessions of 2 hours each. Certificates are provided upon successful completion of the training course.
Under Ministry of Labour rules, each department of a commercial organisation is required to have a first aider and an equipped first aid box. St John provides first aid boxes to commercial clients.
In 2015 St John Zambia trained over 1000 people and includes churches, schools, the public and workplaces.
St John Zambia is also committed to supporting the United Nations Decade of Road Safety 2011-2020 which aims to save five million lives and prevent 50 million serious injuries around the world.
